Our Team
Sara Alsup
I started Thrive Flower Farm in 2020 as a way to provide support and awareness of my family’s orphanage in Congo. I grew up on a farm and have always loved flowers and gardening. It’s a joy to get to grow them on this scale and spread that joy to so many of you!!
Founder
Alsup family
Thrive Flower Farm is a family affair. It would not run without the help and support of our whole family!! In little and big ways, through many seasons and years, my family’s servant hearts and helping hands are why we are able to do what we do!
Helen Weitman
Helen joined our team earlier this year. She brings a love of the outdoors and a passion for details to the team. You can find her running our social media & newsletters, planning our next big event, and designing merchandise. Her favorite spot on the farm is the zinnia patch and you can often find her out there with her three kiddos wedding or cutting blooms.
Kara Kitchen
Kara also joined our team earlier this year and brings a passion for farming and beauty to the team. She has singlehandedly planted and tended to our veggie patch with her two boys, and she is the creative genius behind all of our paint nights and paint parties! If you find something beautiful on the farm, Kara probably made it.
A Team Effort
At any given time, we have a whole team of people who come in and out of the farm to lend their help cutting, weeding, and making bouquets. We could not do what we do without these helping hands and friendly faces!! If you need an internship for your class at OSU or are interested in joining our team, feel free to reach out below!! We love what we get to do and sharing it with others!
